I will use math to make sense of the world

24 hours in a day

minus (-) the prescribed 8 hours of sleep =
16 hours

- 9 hour work day =
8 hours

- 2 hours, give or take, rattling, speeding, through the city's large intestine =
6 hours

- necessity of breakfast and dinner, 1 hour total at most pathetic: consumption of cereals and/or corn tortillas=
5 hours

- 1 hour of requisite capitalism, replace the toilet paper or get a seltzer or buy one of those plastic bags of Indian food you can boil in a pot =
4 hours

- 1 hour for basic health tasks: floss, tweeze, brush, slough, pick, examine, lather, rinse, repeat =
3 hours

- let us allocate 1 hour for basic communication with a person of kindred spirit, via telephone or curled under a scratchy blanket on the living room couch =

2 hours

Do with it what you will. Maybe use that time to figure out a way to make art your job.
